We bid farewell to Marguerite E. Zimmerman of Pine Grove, Pennsylvania, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on August 7, 2024 at the age of 91. Marguerite touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Aungst and Margaret Bohr Aungst; her husband Eugene M. Zimmerman; her great grandchild Paul Eugene Derfler; and her sisters, June D. Rumpf, Ruth Ann Fidler, Mary Philumalee and Betty M. Zechman.
She is survived by: her children, Diane (Roger Barr) of Tremont, Doreen (Michael Derfler) of Pine Grove, Deborah Burns (Mike Firestone) of Denver, Russell Sr. (Jane Zimmerman) of Pine Grove, Ricky (Phyllis Zimmerman) of Pine Grove and Robert (Ann Zimmerman) of Pine Grove; and her siblings, Corrine Klinger of Pine Grove, Doris Moyer of Pine Grove, Claire Leisey of Florida and Allen Aungst of Pine Grove. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 44 great grandchildren, and 9 great great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer contributions be made to Outwood Lutheran Church Memorial Fund, c/o Henry Snyder, 706 Oak Grove Road, Pine Grove, PA 17963 in her memory.
