He is survived by: his parent Hattie Barr Scanlan; his sons, Edward Scanlan, Pine Grove and Michael Scanlan; and his grandchildren, Dawn Scanlan (Charles Wenrich), Michael Jr. (Shana Scanlan) and Kimberly Scanlan.
