With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Hess (Pine Grove, Pennsylvania), born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 1, 2018 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parent John W.. He is survived by: his parent Genevieve Huen Hess; his spouse Sue Running Bear Hess; his children, Emma Jean Hill, Michele Gehman, Gloria Kaiser, Wonda Sturges, Sharon Rodriquiz, Deanna Eastridge, Jay Hess, John W. Hess, III and Robert Eastridge; and his siblings, Gloria Plesce and Larry Hess.

In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer contributions be made to the Ruth Steinert SPCA, P.O. Box 332, Schuylkill Haven, Pa. 17972 in his memory.
