John R. Haldeman Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John R. Haldeman of Pine Grove, Pennsylvania, born in Pottsville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 27, 2024, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert "Hank" Haldeman and Clara Marie Kline Haldeman; and his sisters, Lynn M. Kelly and Betty Jean Haldeman. He is survived by: his wife Carol Fidler Haldeman; his children, Haley Hardenstine (Steve) and William "Bill" Haldeman; his grandson Kade Haldeman (Haley); his stepgrandchildren, Rory Hardenstine (Nicole) of Phoenixville and Royale Hardenstine of Saudi Arabia; his stepgreat-grandson Cosmo Hardenstine; and his sisters, LouAnn Shiffer (Willard) of Pine Grove and Heather Haldeman of State College. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 11:45 AM at the Leaving the H. L. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc. (139 S Tulpehocken St, Pine Grove, PA 17963). A procession will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery (60 Indiantown Gap Rd, Annville, PA 17003). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Pine Grove VFW Post 3432 (140 S Tulpehocken St, Pine Grove, PA 17963).
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer contributions be made in John's memory to Hospice of Central Pennsylvania, 1320 Linglestown Rd., Harrisburg, PA 17110.
