He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman J. Savant and Theresa Venner Payne. He is survived by: his wife Maria Mull; his sons, James Jr. (Maria Savant) of Bernville and George (Heather Savant) of Robesonia; and his grandchildren, Niko Savant, Aiden Savant and Bentley Savant.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Snyder Funeral Home (139 S Tulpehocken St, Pine Grove, PA 17963). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer contributions be made to Compassus Hospice & Palliative Care, 1001 James Drive Suite B-34, Leesport, PA 19533 in his memory.
