He was predeceased by: his parents, George Schwartz and Evelyn Saltzman Schwartz. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Bettinger Schwartz; his children, Heather Funk of Harrisburg and Gerald (Stacy Schwartz) of Minersville; and his grandchildren, Brendan, Lauren Funk, Nathan and Bryce Schwartz.
