She was predeceased by: her parents, Marlin Ramer and Arlene Kehler Ramer; and her siblings, Marlin "Butch" Ramer, Wayne Ramer, Debra Moya and Janice Ramer.
She is survived by: her husband Lawrence Simms; her son Jason (Amber Simms) of Schuylkill Haven; her grandson Kaiden Simms; and her brother Ronald Ramer of Halifax.
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer contributions be made to the Ruth Steinert Memorial SPCA, 18 Wertz Dr., Pine Grove, PA 17963 in her memory.
