It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Effie Mae Zerbe of Pine Grove, Pennsylvania, born in Wrightsville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 18, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jasper Curry and Ella Baker Curry; her husband Ellwood M. Woody; and her siblings, Shelton, Paul, Lawrence, John, Alma, Anna, Della, Rebecca and Shirley.

She is survived by: her daughters, Eloise (Mike Shapiro) of Harrisburg, Gerri (Paul Inama) of Pine Grove, Tina (Jeffrey Davis) of Pine Grove and Lori (Randy Blank) of Pine Grove; her grandchildren, Cory (Kristy Sarge), Eric (Kaylene Inama), Noah Blank, Benjamin Davis, Dustin Davis, Dakota Davis and Ethan Davis; her great grandchildren, Meghan Sarge, Ryan Sarge, Rachel Sarge, Chase Sarge and Kade Inama; and her brother Joseph Curry of Cressona.

The family would prefer, in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to the Pine Grove Wesleyan Church, 74 Bethel Road, Pine Grove, Pa. 17963, in her memory.
