Donald L. Schaeffer Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Donald L. Schaeffer of Pine Grove, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 18, 2024 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Schaeffer and Phyllis Zimmerman Schaeffer; his daughter Christine Schaeffer; and his former wife Shirley Kalbach Schaeffer. He is survived by: his wife June Nagle Schaeffer; his son Karl (Hollly Schaeffer) of Pine Grove; his granddaughters, Shelby (Evan Graeff) and Kamryn Schaeffer; his stepchildren, Robert Derfler and Karen Harris; and his stepgrandsons, Matt (Kristen Harris) and Nathan (Melissa Harris).
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer contributions be made to the Wesleyan Church, 74 Bethel Rd., Pine Grove, PA 17963 in his memory.
