He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Anna Gilbert Wertz and Richard A. Wertz; his wife Wanda Morgan Wertz; his daughters, Jennifer Gerhart of Flying Hills, Heather Legarht (Nathan Harwick) of Pine Grove and Amy (Greg Zimmerman) of Pine Grove; his grandchildren, Magdalayne, Mason, Mitchell Peters, Hadyn Zimmerman and Ava Legarht; and his sister Missy (Jerry Witherow) of Pine Grove.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Snyder Funeral Home (139 S Tulpehocken St, Pine Grove, PA 17963). A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer contributions be made to St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 312 S. Tulpehocken St., Pine Grove, PA 17963 in his memory.
