He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Rhen and Violet Spittler Rhen; and his siblings, Robert Rhen, Mary Ann Andersen and Joyce Leffler.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Longo Rhen; his sons, Barton (Barbara Rhen), Brett A. (Esther L. Rhen), James A. (Tiffany Rhen) and Jason Rhen; his grandchildren, Jayce, Kenna, Shelby, Sara, Steven and Hope; his stepgrandson Johnathan Sterns; his great grandchild Aubrey Nicole; and his sister Carol (Claude Ritzmen). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would prefer, in lieu of flowers, donations be given to the Ruth Steinert SPCA, 18 Wertz Drive, Pine Grove, Pa. 17963, in his memory.
