We are sad to announce that on September 13, 2023, at the age of 103, Claire A. Williams of Pine Grove, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William Tobias and Minnie Wenrich Tobias; her husband Edward Williams; her son Michael Williams; and her siblings, Alma Stahl, Evna "Peggy" Tobias, Marie Richards, Roma Klinger, Ada Schneck, Earl Tobias and Thomas Tobias.

She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Susan Williams of Catasaqua; and her grandchildren, Brittany Williams and Nicholas Williams. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

The family would prefer, in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to the Michael T. Williams scholarship fund, and send to Susan Williams, 820 Poplar St. Catasaqua, Pa. 18032 in her memory.

“I just found out today that my Aunt Claire Williams passed away in September of last year. My condolences go out to her daughter-in-law Susan and grand children. I would visited her numerous times in Pine Grove as well as calling her a a semi-regular basis. I loved talking to her about the Williams family. I am truly sorry about her passing and I keep her in my prayers. Robert Williams”
