She was predeceased by: her parents, Anthony Lawrence Heitz and Mary Herring Heitz Morgan; her husband David G. Zimmerman, Sr.; and her sister Shirley A. Longenecker. She is survived by: her children, David G. Jr. (Bernadette Zimmerman) and Holly Brosius (Dan Glowatski) of Pine Grove; her grandchildren, Ashley Blampied, Blaine Blampied, Malerie Wagner, Dianna Bruhn, Nevin Brosius, Guy Zimmerman, Christine Zimmerman and Benjamin Brosius; her great grandchildren, Ella Cleary, Raegan, Harper, Clair Wagner, David and Emilia Zimmerman; and her siblings, Betty Dreher of West Virginia and Ronald (Cheryl Heitz) of Pine Grove. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer contributions be made to the Ruth Steinert Memorial SPCA, 18 Wertz Dr. Pine Grove, PA 17963 in her memory.
