He was predeceased by: his parents, George Hoffman and Emma Zimmerman Hoffman; his wife Fern K. Behm Hoffman; his stepdaughter Nancy Burke; and his siblings, Ernest Hoffman, Robert Hoffman and Grace Kreiser.
He is survived by: his children, Sheri (Michael Galloway) of Elverson and Scott Hoffman (Debbie) of Landsdale; his stepson David (Margie Schwalm) of Mt. Joy; his son-in-law Mike (Sylvia Burke); and his sister Janet Fidler of Pine Grove.
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer contributions be made to either the Pine Grove VFW, 140 S. Tulpehocken St., Pine Grove, Pa. 17963 or St. Peter's Lutheran Church Memorial Fund, 312 S. Tulpehocken St. Pine Grove, PA 17963 in his memory.
