She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Smith and Mabel Strausser Smith; and her brother Larry Smith. She is survived by: her husband Charles W. Deichert; her children, Jeffrey (Maria Deichert) of Pine Grove, Joel (Darlene Deichert) of Pottsville, Jason (Charise Deichert) of Pine Grove and Justine (Jason Schach) of Pine Grove; her grandchildren, Nicole Deichert, Erin Morgan, Lynne Delinko, Andrew Deichert, Payton Schach, Gavin Schach, Hunter Deichert, Addyson Deichert and Irelyn Henry; her great grandchildren, Alana Smith, Jordan Morgan, Quincy Allen, Tatum Delinko and Evelyn Deichert; and her sister Arlene Knoll of Pine Grove. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
