She was predeceased by: her parents, Ida S. Miller (Hoffman) and Clayton A. Miller; her husband William F. Shaffer; and her brother Forrest W. Miller. She is survived by: her daughter Sandra Strohecker (Kenneth); her grandsons, Todd Strohecker (Julie) and Ty Strohecker; and her great grandchildren, Lainey of Klingerstown, Taylee of Klingerstown and Parker Strohecker of Klingerstown.
