It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of William Shakespeare of Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, born in Spring City, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 26, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Shakespeare and Hannah Shakespeare (Thompson); his sister Doris Nichol; his niece Sharon Rees; and his brother-in-law George Wilkins.

He is survived by: his wife Lorraine Shakespeare (Wilkins) of Phoenixville, PA; his sons, Jeffrey Shakespeare, Keith (Trish Shakespeare) and Kevin Shakespeare; his granddaughter Karly Shakespeare; his stepgrandchildren, Brennen Lee, Reuben Lee, Amanda (Brad Hurst), Susan Matela and Megan Matela; his sister Betty Jones; his nieces, Sandy (Randy Huth) and Charlie (Tom Wilson); and his nephew Timothy Moser.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
