He is survived by: his spouse Patricia A. Ruppe (Kassel) of Phoenixville, PA; his children, Donna Ruppe Gomes (John Gomes), Joseph William Ruppe and Patricia Ruppe Hennessey; his grandchildren, Ashley Elizabeth, Regina Marie, Melissa Brianna, Caroline Marie, Maura Katherine, Joseph Augustine, Isabelle Marie and Marissa Ann; his great grandchildren, Jackson, Cooper and Alaina; and his sister Trudy Kolb.
