He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Herrick (Shaffer) and Mike Herrick; his sister-in-law Mary Ellen Herrick (Faddis); and his in-laws, Art and Lucy Biehl.
He is survived by: his wife Dawn (Simmonds); his son Tom; his brother Mike; his nieces and nephews, Stephanie Herrick, Jennifer Roney, Keith McCullough (Jacqueline) and Bob Price; his great-nieces, Miiya (Zach Kaczor) and Tess Maiden; his great-nephew Joshua Halberstein; his in-laws, Tom, Kathy Simmonds, Bob Simmonds and Soni Biehl; and also Donna Madden (Simmonds).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to All 4 Paws, in honor of Tom's love of animals.
