It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sarah Elizabeth Hannum of Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 23, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Sarah has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Esther P. Hannum and Winfield Smith Hannum. She is survived by: her sister Martha H. Serrill (William L. Serrill); her niece Allison S. Caccese (Douglas Caccese); her nephew W. Doug Serrill; and her great-nieces, Madison and Ashley Caccese.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Sarah's name to St. Mary Anne's Episcopal Church, in care of Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, MD 21901.
