She was predeceased by: her brother Bob Gear; her husband Steve of Phoenixville, PA; and her son Stephen. She is survived by: her brother John; her children, Marie Iwaniuk and Dan Iwaniuk; her stepdaughter Summer Wongthida Christina (Dan); her grandson Michael Ring; her siblings, Mark Gear, Tim Gear and Sister Dawn Gear; her sister-in-law Marianne Nattle (Byrne); her niece Megan Holler (Gear); and her nephews, Vincent Gear and Tim Gear.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the COPD Foundation to help others struggling with COPD.
