With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Karen M. Merkel (Phoenixville, Pennsylvania), born in Charleston, West Virginia, who passed away on January 30, 2021 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Morrison and Ilda Mae Morrison (Briscoe); and her sister Jane Ellen Morrison. She is survived by: her husband Alan Merkel of Phoenixville; her daughters, Katie Ball and Sara Merkel of Charleston, WV; and her grandchildren, Johnny (John IV) and Tessa Mae.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to help support the missions at the First Presbyterian Church of Phoenixville.
