He was predeceased by: his wife Josephine O'Neill (Cutillo) of Phoenixville, PA; his parents, Aloysius O'Neill and Catherine O'Neill (McCabe); and his sister Agnes Taglieber (O'Neill). He is survived by: his daughters, Colleen O'Neill Stephens (late Bruce "Buzz" Stephens) and Kathleen O'Neill.
