He was predeceased by: his parents, Randall Buckwalter and Anna Buckwalter (Dietrich); and his siblings, Helen, Louis, Frances, Harold and Robert.
He is survived by: his friend Willa Fern Buckwalter (Moore); his children, John Buckwalter (Constance), Mary Corcoran (Derek) and Mark Buckwalter (Heather); and his grandchildren, Emily, Madison, Hannah, David and Jacob.
