With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Howard Gray Brotherton of Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, born in Catawba, North Carolina, who passed away on July 9, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Willys Brotherton and Neva Brotherton. He is survived by: his wife Shirley; his son Andrew (Katie); his granddaughters, Emma and Molly; his siblings, Willys (Skip) and Joye; and also Carmen. He is also survived by family members and dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Howard may be made in support of glioblastoma research at Jefferson.

“I was very sad to hear of Howard's passing. I worked for him at Lockheed Martin in King of Prussia, PA in the late 1980s and 1990s. Howard was a good man, both as a manager and as a friend. His technical expertise and management skills were recognized by his peers and customers. He had a positive impact on many people, and the world is a better place because of his efforts.
