She was predeceased by: her husband Donald E. Mathewson; and her parents, Wheeler Abel Smith and Alice Marion Smith (Connell). She is survived by: her children, Alice K. Shipman (Mark) of Schwenksville, Carl Mathewson (MaryAnne) of San Diego, Roger Mathewson (Evi) of Lancaster and Mark Mathewson (Debbie) of Reno, Nevada; and her grandchildren, Bryan Mathewson of Santa Cruz, Noah Shipman of Schwenksville and Carissa Shipman of Schwenksville.
