He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Alexander and Maggie Alexander; his brother Joseph Alexander; and his son David Burton. He is survived by: his children, Michelle Bundy of Douglassville, PA, Rodney Alexander of Coatesville, PA, Nicole Alexander of Royersford, PA, Jason Norwood of Lancaster, PA, Frank Norwood of Pottstown, PA, Charita Norwood of Pottstown, PA and Dexter Alexander of Pottstwon, PA; and his siblings, Charlene Alexander, Maggie Alexander, Willie Alexander and Cubby Alexander. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and five great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews along with friends.
