He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Flaherty and Mary Middleton (Flaherty); and his brothers, Joseph Flaherty and Tom Flaherty. He is survived by: his wife Madonna F. Flaherty (Burke) of Phoenixville; his son Joseph Daniel Flaherty; his granddaughter Lillian Danielle Flaherty; and his sisters, Kathleen Flaherty, Peggy Gozzillo and Pat.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Dan's name may be sent to St. Ann Catholic Church, 502 Main Street, Phoenixville, PA 19460 or to the American Lung Association of the Mid Atlantic, 625 N. Governor Printz Blvd, #2, Essington, PA 19029.
