Catherine S. Varady Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Catherine S. Varady of Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 11, 2025 at the age of 75. She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael G. Sabol and Anna Sabol (Matonak). She is survived by: her sons, Kevin Varady (Anna Loro) and Matthew; her mother-in-law Mercedes Varady; her grandchildren, Kyle, Andrew, Gunnar and Teagan; her brothers, Michael (Kathleen Sabol) and Edward; and her spouse Dorothy Sabol. She is also survived by two nieces and two nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 9:45 AM to 10:45 AM at the St. Basil the Great Catholic Church (2340 Kimberton Rd, Phoenixville, PA 19460). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at the Sacred Heart Cemetery (1261 Fillmore St, Phoenixville, PA 19460).
She served on the Education Foundation Pack a Backpack Committee for several years as well.
