He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Joan Latini; his children, Lauri Kontra (Walt), Beth Carlin (Drew) and Stacy Latini (Tom Sharp); his grandchildren, Emily, Tyler Kontra, Amber Carlin Palmer (Cody), Mayavan Sharp, Faith Antonini and Gavin Antonini; his stepchildren, A. J. Antonini (Teresa Long) and Jeff Antonini; his sisters, Agnes Palena (late Eugene) and Elizabeth "Betty" Latini; and his nephews, Richard and David Palena.
