With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Shirley Jean Sankey of Philipsburg, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 20, 2024 at the age of 85. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Carter and Martha Carter (Davey); and her brother Jack Carter. She is survived by: her spouse Thomas Richard Sankey; her children, Kimberly Tally (Richard) of Smithfield, VA, Lori Baxter (Tork) of Philipsburg, PA, Thomas Sankey (Maryjane Larmon) of Sharpsville, PA and Scott Sankey (Kristy) of Clearfield, PA; her sister Dolores Lidgett of Munson, PA; her grandchildren, Dr. Dana Baxter (William Popojas), Tyler Baxter (Jamie), Danielle Reifer, Michael Reifer (Kathryn), Lindsey Shockley (Jacob), Kailynn Sankey, Reese Sankey, Toree Sankey and Charlee Sankey; and her great grandchildren, Trey Baxter and Cameron Reifer.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Osceola Mills United Methodist Church. A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
