Ruby McKay Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruby McKay (Philipsburg, Pennsylvania), who passed away on March 31, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Blair B. Lockett and Olive Leafy Lockett (Fetzer); her husband Erick McKay; her son-in-law Bobby Edge; and her siblings, Permella M. Bunnell, Charles E. Lockett and Blair A. Lockett.
She is survived by: her children, Sandy J. McKay of Clarksburg, WV, Erick N. McKay Sr. (Rose) of Hudson and Valerie J. Stiner (Bud) of Hudson; her sister Connie J. Passmore of Kellytown; her grandchildren, Erick N. McKay Jr. (Chrissy) of Saint Mary's, Preston A. McKay of Ridgway and Samantha M. Stiner of Columbus, OH; and her great grandchildren, Eli, Aiden, Liliana, Ian and Emalynn. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Dahlgren-Spewock Funeral Home, Inc. (228 N Centre St, Philipsburg, PA 16866). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
