She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul C. Hugar and Gladys M. Hugar (Lucas); her siblings, Thomas L. Hugar (Pat) of Pittsburgh, PA, Max D. Hugar of Montgomery, PA and Jeanette G. Larson (Gustave) of Hyde, PA; and her nephew Michael Larson of Hyde, PA..
She is survived by: her husband George L. Verost; her daughters, LuAnn Narehood Shifter (David) of Keewaydin, PA, Barbara Verost Morrison (Robert) of Crescent, PA, Cathy Verost (Iain Macleod) of Oak Bluffs, MA and Julie Verost (Scott Hershowitz) of Oak Bluffs, MA; her grandchildren, Kaitlin Morrison of Crescent, PA and Robert Morrison of Fort Novosel, AL; and her sisters-in-law, Loretta Hugar of Montgomery, PA and Nancy Kovalchick (Jack) of Philipsburg, PA. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Saints Peter and Paul Altar and Rosary Society, 400 S. 4th St., Philipsburg, PA 16866 or to the Moshannon Valley YMCA, 113 N. 14th St., Philipsburg, PA 16866 in memory of Nancy M. Verost.
