It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maxine (Steele) Frantz of Philipsburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 28, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William B. Steele and Margaret E. Steele (Putt); her husband John; her brothers, William, Lawrence and Charles Steele; and her stepchildren, Evelyn "Jean" Schmoke and John H. Frantz, Jr..
She is survived by: her siblings, June Moriarty of Boalsburg, Joyce Wynne of Williamsburg, Virginia and Richard A. Steele of Mahaffey; and her stepchildren, Mary L. Seprish and Robert Lee Frantz (Ruth) of Hawk Run. She is also survived by numerous step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren and other extended family.
