She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Desso and Pearl Desso (Carr); her husband William M. Whalen; her sons, Patrick and Shawn Whalen; and her brother Adam.
She is survived by: her children, Cynthia A. Kifer of Philipsburg, PA, Wynter M. Garcia of Osceola Mills, PA and Bill Whalen of Williamsport, PA; and her grandchildren, Brandon, Autumn, Heather, Marijo, Kala, Alex, Samantha, Celena and Ryder. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
