He was predeceased by: his mother Frances Anderson; his daughter Sherry Helsel; and his sister Peggy Wagner. He is survived by: his wife Mary C. Helsel (Frontino); his sons, Gary A. Helsel of Philipsburg, PA and Michael L. Helsel (Sabrina) of Bethlehem, PA; his grandchildren, Connor, Logan, Mia, Eve and Weston; and his nieces, Tammy Raymond (Lynn), Tracy Bakaysa (Joe) and Terry Smith (Bo).
