He was predeceased by: his father John E. Smith; and his wife Julie Smith (Perks). He is survived by: his mother Esther M. Smith (Hughes) of Philipsburg, PA; and his siblings, Ressa J. Owens (Stanley) of Beech Creek, PA, Benjamin G. Smith (Michelle) of Osceola Mills, PA and John M. Smith (Cathy) of Osceola Mills, PA. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
