She was predeceased by: her parents, James Pettingill and Bessie Pettingill (Kreidler); and her husband Milfred L. Shimel. She is survived by: her sons, Barry W. Shimel (Sandra) of Philipsburg and Brad A. Shimel; and her daughter-in-law Dorothy of Florence, Mass.. She is also survived by six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and numerous other extended family.
