We are sad to announce that on November 22, 2020, at the age of 81, Barbara Lee Nartatez of Philipsburg, Pennsylvania, born in Buffalo, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene J. Backes and Katherine L. Backes (Lowry); and her sister Eleanor Gary. She is survived by: her children, Elizabeth "Lisa" Myers (Todd) of Philipsburg, Laurie J. Nartatez of Philipsburg, Amy J. Nartatez of Pittsburgh, Dr. Mark A. Nartatez (Krystan) of Philipsburg, Jeffrey P. Nartatez (Lori Ann) of Melbourne and Jonathan "Jay" Nartatez (Marina) of Altoona; her grandchildren, Sara, Nathan, Danielle, Michael N., Ryan, Eric, Austin, Kathryn "Katie", Michael H., Wyatt, Masen, Devin, Clayten and Jayla; and her sisters, Mary Adams (Ed) of Grand Island, Joanne Nowicki (Paul) of Lake View and Jean Guild (Richard) of Glenwood.
Current CDC guidelines concerning the use of masks and social distancing will be followed.
