William Anderson Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William Anderson (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 17, 2024 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though William may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those William touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his wife Phyllis; and his daughter Diane O'Brien. He is survived by: his children, Phyllis Wichert (Thomas), Cindy Hudicek (late William), Edythe Hoffman (late Richard), Janice Anderson (Frank) and William Anderson (Maureen); and his sister Rose "Dolly" Benson (late Albert). He is also survived by family, which includes 19 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Sunday, September 22nd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Burns Funeral Home-Columbia Ave. (1428 E Columbia Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19125).
