She was predeceased by: her parents, Reverend Lewis Wellington Wales, Jr. and Elvin M. Parker Wales; her husband Harry Leon White; and her grandson Christopher Nunes. She is survived by: her daughters, Cheryl White Patterson (James) of Memphis and Linda White Nunes (Frederick) of Philadelphia; and her grandchildren, Christian L. Patterson, Kathryn L. Nunes and Rachel O. Patterson. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Williamsburg Presbyterian Church (215 Richmond Rd, Williamsburg, VA 23185). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Cedar Grove Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Friends of the Williamsburg Regional Library Foundation.
