It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter S. Zarzycki Jr. of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 19, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Zarzycki, Sr. and Veronica Zarzycki (Ruth Zarzycki); his sister Veronica Robb; and his brother-in-law George "Ned" Manley. He is survived by: his daughters, Christina Gorey (Pat), Marcella McGarvey (Jim), Jennifer Anusky (Troy) and Nicole Pondillo (Andy); his grandchildren, Justin (Ashley), Patrick, Meghan, Bridget (Nick), Evan, Troy (Darbi) and Zachary Brendan; his stepgrandson Anthony; his great grandchildren, Liam, Leilani, Eliana, Magnolia, Troy, Waylon and Devin; his sister Dawn Manley; his brother-in-law Robert Robb; and his pet Jet. He is also survived by his nieces, family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Christ the King Church (3252 Chesterfield Rd, Philadelphia, PA 19114). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Washington Crossing National Cemetery (830 Highland Rd, Newtown, PA 18940).
