He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Aria Vega. He is survived by: his parents, John Nickels and Mary McDonough Nickels; his wife Lynn Conner Nickels; his children, Kathy Roth (Ron), Auburn, Christine Nickels, Bethesda, Maureen Strong, North Easton, Megan Abbett (Keith) and Sherborn; his grandchildren, Caitlin, Sean, Jeremy, James Hoban, Angelique Nickels, Alicia Strong, Nicole Strong, Kismet, Kai, Dagny, Piper Abbett, Emily Brish, Kayden Brish, Grace Ortiz, Marina Ortiz, Sophia Vega, Diego Vega, Ryan Roth and Rochelle Roth; his great grandchildren, Riley Smith and Jaiden Roth; his friend Carol Nickels; his former wife Philadelphia; his pet Auto; and his spouse Carol Schade. He is also survived by three stepdaughters and two stepsons.
