Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calendar Saint Andrew Lithuanian Church (1928 Wallace St, Philadelphia, PA 19130). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM.

As an expression of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Lithuanian Cultural Center Of Philadelphia.

“My life would have been different if it was not for Ponia Gecys, returning a call to my Mom, who had left a message on the Lithuanian Hall answering machine in 1992. Because of that, we got in touch with our Lithuanian roots through language, dance, & St. Andrew church. If she had not done that, then I probably would never have gone to Lithuania or have met my wife. Now I have family in Lithuania. May Teresa be at peace and at rest. She and her family were very nice and welcoming. R Silbert”
