She is survived by: her friends, Arroz, Dulce, Pasteles and Pernil; her husband Reinol Diaz; her children, Nancy Pollis (Walter), Daisy Soto, Caridad Montañez (José) and Reinol Diaz Jr. (Melody); her grandchildren, Teresa Diaz of Reinol Diaz, Andrew Montañez, Natalia Montañez, Daniel Soto, Eric Soto and Heriberto Garcia; her siblings, Julie Alvelo, Victor Alvelo, Pedro Alvelo, Antonia Alvelo, John Alvelo, Maria Alvelo, Ibet Alvelo, Maritza Alvelo, Radames Alvelo and Carmen Alvelo; and her niece Noemi Coreano Rivera. She is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
