Stoja Malahov Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Stoja Malahov of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 14, 2025 at the age of 91. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Stoja Malahov to pay them a last tribute.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse Vasil Malahov; her siblings, Milenija, Rosa, Rada, Desa, Dusanka, Dusan, Pera, Svetozar and Milovan (Dojna); her child Damir Malahov (Ilona); her grandsons, Danny and Dominic Malahov; and her nephew George Ruso (Cassi).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Saint Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Church (506 Stahr Rd, Elkins Park, PA 19027). A Mass was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Lawnview Cemetery (500 Huntingdon Pike, Jenkintown, PA 19046).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Stoja's name can be made to St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Church.
