He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Cantwell and Helen Cantwell; and his brother Mark Cantwell. He is survived by: his wife Ida Cantwell; his children, Lisa Macsisak (Michael Macsisak), Suzanne Cantwell Birkin (Carl Birkin) and Stephen Cantwell (Rimma Baram); and his grandchildren, Cassidy Hruska (Kristina Hruska), Keira Cantwell, Frank Cantwell and Hudson Birkin.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:20 AM at 2000 Shelmire Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19152. A Mass was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Resurrection of Our Lord Church (2020 Shelmire Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19152).
