It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Russell Kosofsky of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 18, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wasyl and Katarzyna; his siblings, Annie, Pauline, Harry, Peter and John; his daughter Connie (Joe); and his grandchildren, Christopher and Russell.
He is survived by: his significant other Connie; his children, Karen (Jim), Russell and Alexis (Rick); his son-in-law Tom Smith; his grandchildren, Michael (Leah), Deanna (James), Jimi, Brandon (Jackie), Joey, Andrew (Kate), Samantha (Ryan), Sage (Chalie), Chelsea (Dustin) and Katie; his great grandchildren, Brenna (Ryan), Jude, Allison, Annalisa, Hayden, Christopher, Chalie, Leighton, Cole, James, Ryan, Joey, Adrianna and Brodie; and his great great grandchild Sophia.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 3:00 PM, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 8:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Rogers Funeral Home (1426 S 3rd St #30, Philadelphia, PA 19147).
