It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert Lee Gavin (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania), who passed away on February 27, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Gavin and Miriam Gavin; his brother William Gavin (Veronica); his stepson Michael Aman; his son-in-law Garvin "Mac" McNeill; and his granddaughter Skylar McNeill.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Gavin; his children, Jennifer McNeill (late Garvin) and Jeffrey Gavin; his stepdaughter Karin Gairo (John); and his brothers, Edward Gavin (Genevieve) and John Gavin (Monica). He is also survived by his 7 grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Martha Catholic Church (11301 Academy Rd, Philadelphia, PA 19154). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Martha Church (11301 Academy Rd, Philadelphia, PA 19154). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Our Lady of Grace Cemetery (1215 Super Highway, Levittown, PA 19047).
