It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert E. Ballard (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania), who passed away on January 13, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the vast expanse of eternity, Robert shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Robert farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Arthur Ballard Jr. and Genevieve Ballard (Faust); his wife Frances T. Ballard (Faulhaber); and his son Robert J. Ballard. He is survived by: his daughter Genevieve D. Smith (Ballard); his son-in-law Louis Smith; his grandsons, Timothy T. Brooks III, James J. Brooks and Malachi Smith; and his stepchildren, Anne Marie Galligan (Tim), Joseph Richter (Nicole) and Nicole Richter (Tim). He is also survived by many other extended family, members and friends.
